Lunchtime Activities: Famous Traditional Foods of China

Our school recently organized an engaging lunchtime activity themed “Famous Traditional Foods of China.” Students explored well-known delicacies from Shantou, Beijing, Guangzhou and Fuzhou while deepening their cultural knowledge and language skills. Through a lively matching game on the online platform Quizizz, students connected each city with its signature dish in a fun and interactive way. The activity encouraged quick thinking and friendly competition. Students not only learned about regional food traditions but also enriched their English vocabulary related to cuisine and cities. It was a joyful and meaningful learning experience enjoyed by all participants.
